I have worked with Martyn Smith and Holland Contracts Ltd., on a number of projects, in my capacity as Project Manager for Newey & Eyre, and will now continue to do so, in my new role for all of our banner companies for Rexel UK ltd, which as well as Newey & Eyre, will include WF Senate, Parker Merchanting, Denmans, Wilts, as well as Rexel Renewables, and Supply Chain.
In all projects to date, I have always had an excellent working relationship with Martyn, and all of his “team”, and find them all to be very approachable and professional, in all projects to date. I become involved in projects for relocations, refurbishments and dilapidation works, at a number of our branches, and in all tasks undertaken by Holland Contracts Ltd, I have, without fail, been very pleased with their work.
During some of our projects, there may have been areas, within the project, that I have over-looked, but with Martyn’s attention to detail, he has highlighted these to me; not in any way, as a criticism of my abilities, but more in a “shared” interest, in ensuring that the project is delivered, as we would both want it to be, and that is much to his credit. Sometimes these “visons” may have an additional project cost to us, but, the fact that they are highlighted, is a credit to his and Holland Contracts Ltd professionalism, and their intentions to deliver an excellent job.
I will continue to use Holland Contracts, and give due consideration to his tenders, for any planned works that we may have, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone, who requires a forward-thinking, professional, courteous Company, who deliver “on time” and within project budgets.

“HLP have worked with Holland Contracts on a number of elements of refurbishment and remodelling at a high tech production facility in Huntingdon. We have designed new canopy areas to the rear of the site and new mezzanine office facilities with production facilities below. In, effectively a Design and Build contract, Holland Contracts have led the Design Team and the various planning and on site processes, including the highly complex servicing design coordination, effectively and efficiently. Most importantly they have worked seamlessly with the production facility to ensure no disruption to the round the clock processes.”
